Who am I?

Hi! I’m Michelle Terry and I am so humbled and thrilled that you checked in on the chaos.

At best, I’m in my own little world and I’m okay with that–they know me there!

Please feel free to share your own imperfections and humor in the comments below or drop me a note on my contact page. Click on the hotlinks to see what’s been written so far and please follow to see what’s on the horizon. This blog is written by me, but it’s for you.

If you are new to this blog, feel free to come back and check weekly or select the option to follow via e-mail so that you don’t miss anything. The fact that you are taking the time to read this means the world to me. I know you have a busy real life and will never intend to take anyone who reads my nonsense for granted. I’m grateful that you are here!

Hope to see you soon.

  2. LOL Love your about page. “Own little world”… my mom used to tell me I was always off in LaLa Land (but that’s okay, they knew me well there). Thanks for finding me… great sense of humor! I’ll definitely be reading more.

    1. Well, hello! It always makes my day to meet new friends. Thank you for taking the time to stop and comment.
As for that sheriff…well, he was not too happy, but at least I didn’t get ticketed. Ooopsies!

    1. Hi Lulu! I love that you love the behind-the-scenes story. I have much better pictures, but can’t take this one down because of the cool memory. Thank you for stopping by, reading and following.

  3. Your blog spoke to me because I, too, am 50 “ish” and am learning to dream again after some major life transitions. I forgot how to do so. I never truly READ a book for anything other than information. As an accountant – I feel for you being in a tech field – seeing spreadsheets? BORING! My heart is in the written word and letting my mind and heart roam free. But how to tame it, to focus it – that’s the trick. I found a kindred soul – thank you. And what a beautiful blog – I’m going to be “tinkering” with mine some more. πŸ™‚

    1. What a beautiful comment ❀️ I can see you and I becoming fast friends – just say no to spreadsheets and yes to the spoken word and dreams. Thank you for taking the time to be here. I’ll be over to meet you at your place soon πŸ™‚

  4. Hi Michelle,
Thanks for visiting my little wildlife blog. Once again, The Alchemist has created a connection.
Thank you for your kind words. I am looking forward to following your work in future. We both seem to spend lot of time on the road for work, so it will be fun to read how life looks to you from that place.
    Great to meet you, too!

  5. Hi, I saw the link to your website on the Erma Bombeck Writers’ Workshop attendees FB page and thought I’d check it out and say hi! You have a beautiful family and reading your posts about your son’s football team is getting me all geared up for my coming years of driving my kids (aged 2 and 5) around to sports and activities in the future. That’s how you can tell I’m a rookie mom: I’m excited to drive to sports! Haha hope to meet you in April!

    1. Hi Jolyn!
I am so honored you took the time to pop in, read, and say hello.
Circle of life, right? Thinking of you and those sweet babies as my last baby gets ready to fly out of the nest.
I’ll be over to check out your blog and look forward to meeting you at Erma. Is it your first time?

      1. Hi there, thanks for checking out my blog! Unfortunately, that is a very old blog that I didn’t realize was still visible to the public haha. My new website is at http://www.jolynyoung.com. It’s a much more accurate reflection of my current life as a ranch wife, mom, and very occasional cowgirl πŸ™‚ Yep, this is my first time at Erma! I’m super excited, I have read all her books at least once and write a fledging humor column that is just gaining momentum.
