Just breathe, Baby!
Grab her hand
Hang on to his
Let it happen
C’mon! Take a chance, Baby.
Buzz, you busy bee
Dip, dive, sip and roll
Feel the sun on your face
Be thankful, Baby!
Be where you are
Walk in their shoes
Seek to understand
Feel the empathy, Honey.
Knock down your walls
Be that person who will
Say it! You know you want to…
Be brave, Baby!
Be present
Keep calm
Stay still
Ahhhhh…..
Shavasana, Baby….

Before you accuse me of being off my rocker, let me explain myself. This post was inspired during yoga class this morning. My gorgeous, fearless yoga instructor first made my day by telling me she reads my blog (thank you!) and then asked how she could read other blogs. I started telling her about Mished Up and then realized, there are soooo many great writers in this space. Why not get everyone together for a little party?
Click on the hot links above to find some of my favorites. This only scratches the surface of who I read on a regular basis, so I’d like to make this “a thing” for future posts and include others. I am inspired by my reader and writer friends and family every day–thank you for blessing my life and reading my ramblings. xo

I tried to channel my “inner Marissa” with a half-hearted attempt at poetry. I knew I’d failed when my husband asked, “What is this? Is it lyrics? I don’t get it….”
Oh well 🙂
Psst: I hope you don’t mind if you are yourself in one of these future posts. The hardest part will be picking my fav 🙂

Oh I know. That is one of the reasons I don’t choose to do the awards blogs…who would I choose? Who would feel left out??
Anyway, I could hardly imagine any attempt at poetry from you being half hearted, much less a failure. Beautifully done!

AS I was reading the first part, I thought, “This seems so yoga like”
Well down and nice idea!

Please edit that to “Well done” (although no doubt downward dog pose was also “well down”) (giggles – and back to the mat…) Thanks

It’s funny how things come to a person, right? I was literally laying on the floor during yoga and our instructor said, “Enjoy this Shavasana”…so I did!

You are totally a writer. I love your merge of photos and words. And, even if we become “done” for a bit, what you’ve written and what you’ve photographed will always be a part of you. I’m happy you share it with us.

I write in self defense, especially on WordPress which is writer centric. My pictures have been my career for likely longer than you’ve been alive. They are just coming to a halt on a forum that isn’t built for them.

I hear you on the photo platform. Even I have problems in my amateur space.
I hope you land in a good space, and once you do, I hope you’ll let me know where you land 🙂

There are no good spaces for photography in blogging form. I’ll likely just add pictures to my commercial site. Maybe, I’ll post on Storyteller now and again because it’s become a bad habit. Or, one day when you’re flying around you’ll see an advertising piece that feels familiar, or when you buy a CD of some music you like… 🙂

OH! Your yoga teacher reads your blog? That’s awesome 😀 And thank you so, so much for linking me. I was going to skive off a bit, but now I’m going to try to write something really beautiful to thank you for linking me, seeing as how you like to read mine, and all. I’ve been on the search for a picture tho and just haven’t found one…I’ll have to figure one out 😀

I’m gonna do a whole post of beautiful for you – just need to make a start 🙂
I’m finally doing better just today! It’s such a relief. I managed to spend the afternoon walking with minimal pain AND without the usual dose of pain meds, so I’m really happy, ALSO it means I can head to London tomorrow with my friend and spend the day wandering and the evening clubbing. But it may also mean I can’t justify taking Monday off ‘sick’ lol 😉

I look forward to a “whole post of beautiful”…your posts are naturally that way ❤️❤️
