Cash is participating in his first fundraising effort for the American Heart Association this month. It’s a jump roping event at his school. Raising money is the easy part. Somehow, in feeding his obsession for Legos and Minecraft, we forgot to teach him how to jump rope and he needs to learn by next Friday!

Oh!!! You just sent me back in time, Karen!
I remember the Jump for Heart days for both of my kids.
The very last year, Dane was miffed that he got beat by a girl 🙂
Speaking of girls and Cash…I’ll bet he has a friend or two who would teach him 🙂
PS: Does he have a fundraising link? If so, feel free to drop it here.

Haha! He actually does have a little girlfriend who cries when she doesn’t get to sit next to him (and she knows how to jump rope). Here’s his link: http://jumphoops2015wsa.kintera.org/cashew2008

That video was awesome. “Can you make it 10?” Ha ha. Great post, Michelle. I can totally see how easy it would be to dismiss the symptoms in yourself–especially as a woman. We want to be in control and don’t think a heart attack could ever happen to US!

I’m all for protecting the hearts of the women I love, Michelle. All women and men need your reminder today. Red it is. Good job.

You seem like you’d be a natural protector of hearts. I think you need a red cape!!

I’m way behind on my reading and haven’t looked at the WP Reader all week. The next time I’m over at your space I’m going to click follow by e-mail. I think I’m missing too much if I don’t
Hope you are having a great Sunday!

I am drinking a glass of Cabarnet Savaugnon as my dear wife Karen drinks a Maragrita because she went to a painting party and came home very happy. And it’s 20 F and snowing all day, and it’s Grammy Awards Sunday, too. See what you have to look forward to when the kids are all grown and out of the house, my dear friend Michelle? ❤

LOL! I’ve been to a happy painting party, too. Seems to me that a margarita may have been involved as well.
Ps: I still absolutely love “my dear wife Karen.” It makes me all warm and fuzzy 🙂

I didn’t know about this, but I had a red undershirt on Friday. Not many people saw it, but hopefully the one I love most did! I love that you championed this cause. There are many hearts in many women I’d love to protect – yours included.
*p.s. Liz Banks, really? *swoon*

A red undershirt definitely counts…especially if your sweetie saw it. Did she leave it on? Well….that’s none of my beeswax!
Liz Banks is AWESOME! This video is a few years old, but the message and her cute persona still hit the mark.
I hope you have a great Sunday, Eli!
