I DID take the time to read (all of it!) first thing this morning in my office. I’m thinking about the unit I’m teaching in both my Expos Writing classes today and wondering if any of them, so many years from now, will ALSO find the inspiration to write–just to communicate and express? I am glad you are! a wonderful opening piece–yes! R.
Thank you for your kind words, Ruth. You’ve long been my inspiration–I wanted to grow up and write as well as you just always naturally have. Knowing that I just wasn’t quite talented enough to make a living doing it kept me away from the passion that’s always been there. I have no doubt that you inspire your students the same way you inspire me. If they don’t write now…they will write someday. It’s a primitive need in that innate writer, don’t you think?
Oh my beautiful Tanna. I totally know how reading is not your favorite thing to do, so I wrote from the heart–just like the way you live your life. You are one of the most honest and compassionate people I know and am so proud and blessed to have you as my very own. Love you Tanna Banana!
